Join the Access Team

Deadline to Apply: Friday, January 16, 2026

The Access Team is for leaders with lived-experience with a disability, who want to assist other attendees in finding accessible features of the Capitol. Access Team members will receive additional required leadership training for DRLD, serve as guides on February 25, and receive a T-shirt. 

Requirements of the position:

  • Ability to assist DRLD attendees with finding accessible Capitol features or how to navigate the building (You will receive training on this).
  • Attend one online training in February 2026 (see application for details).
  • Attend DRLD 2026 in Person on February 25, 2026 from 9 am - 2 pm.

You will be notified by Friday, January 30, 2026 if you've been selected.

Your Experience

If you are selected for this role, you will be on live-stream the day of the event and you will have your picture taken. The rally will also be recorded and potentially used in the future for self-advocacy in Missouri. Please make sure you are comfortable with this and have the permissions necessary to do this before you submit.
